Our Team

Dr. Bettina Jenei is leading a reservoir engineering consultancy startup, Aurora Subsurface Engineering UG iG, which is SEDA-Group's partner company in Germany. Jenei is also a senior engineer and researcher at TU Clausthal’s Institute of Subsurface Energy Systems, with a strong foundation in numerical reservoir modelling and history matching. She holds a Diplom-Ing. in Petroleum Engineering from Montanuniversität Leoben, Austria, and a BSc in Earth Science Engineering from University of Miskolc, Hungary. Her research emphasizes developing simulation workflows that integrate geological constraints for improved reservoir performance analysis. Within her academic role, she teaches modules on reservoir simulation and serves as student-advisor for the Master specialisation in Reservoir Management. Her work is highly relevant to advanced modelling approaches, including those applicable to subsurface energy systems such as CO₂ or hydrogen storage.
