Azim Hekmatinia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Polytechnic University, 1988 and MBA degree 2014. With over 30 years of experience in drilling operations across the Middle East, he has served in numerous technical and managerial roles, including as a Drilling Manager before retirement. He has authored several publications on drilling and well integrity and is recognized for his expertise in well intervention and well plug and abandonment (P&A) operations. Currently, he serves as a consultant at SEDA Group, specializing in drilling optimization, hydraulics, and hole cleaning projects, where he applies his deep technical knowledge to enhance well performance and operational reliability.
